Retirement home: Where help is at hand if you need it

A Centre for the Elderly is not right for everyone. Some older people may be infirm but would still prefer to continue enjoying the freedom of their own four walls, with help at hand if they need it. Our retirement home is the answer.

The Jewish Community Retirement Home comprises 111 apartments and offers residents a way of continuing to live independently while having the option to call for assistance when they need it.

The apartments we offer have one bedroom and vary in size, depending on whether they are for single occupancy or for a couple. They measure between 40 and 58 m² and each have a large balcony. Emergency assistance is available around the clock. We also arrange care for residents, as well as help around the home and assistance with technical problems. In addition, residents can receive assistance for dealing with authorities, as well as personal welfare consultations.

The Jewish Centre for the Elderly is organised as a network, with the retirement home forming one part. This means that residents of the retirement home can enjoy the full range of services from the Centre for the Elderly, including events and, of course, use of the synagogue.

To qualify for an apartment, you will require a ‘Bindungsschein’ from the City of Frankfurt, as these apartments are publicly subsidised. We also welcome non-Jewish residents.
